AFRIGRAND CARAVAN - SEPT. 24TH

This incredible day started at McMaster University with our special guests, Regina Mokgokong and Nkulie Nowathe. High school students from Hamilton to Georgetown listened and asked questions of Regina and Nkulie as they talked about their lives in Mamelodi, South Africa and how AIDS has affected lives in their community. They praised Stephen Lewis and the Gandmothers to Grandmothers campaign for its commitment to funding the Tateni Home Care Nursing Services, of which Regina is executive director, and where Nkulie is a regular attendee there.

The following photos were taken this same day, while having lunch at the Williams Coffee Pub located in Harbour West,47 Discovery Drive, Hamilton.
Along with Regina and Nkulie were grandmothers from Grandmothers of Steel, Blooms for Africa, Oomama and Bronte
