WORDS FOR AFRICA!

The following Scrabble Events will be taking place to help raise funds for our Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. We seek to raise awareness and generate funds to support the African Grandmothers who are shouldering much of the burden as they cre for their grandchildren orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

C'mon out and have some fun while helping very brave grandmothers who in face of adversity just keep going and going and going. Words can't express what our help means to them. You don't have to be good spellers or know much about Scrabble, there are others that will be there to show you, so come on, we look forward to seeing you!! Call the following to register ($5) and pickup sponsor sheet.

St. John's Anglican, Ancaster, Oct. 5, 1:30-5:00 pm
Jan Lukas: 905-648-1582 or Theresa Randles: 905-389-1405

There are other small groups having Scrabble Tournaments in their homes. If you would like information about them, please email: grandmothersofsteel@gmail.com

SEE YOU THERE!!
